Nestled atop the ridge are 4 timber lodges that house our 17 cozy rooms and suites. All feature private bathrooms and are within a short walk of the Main Lodge and gathering areas.

We’re a short drive from the scenic highway, with an astoundingly beautiful drive to the top of Mount Mitchell.

A sign at the top of Mount Mitchell shows that it's the highest peak east of the Mississippi River at an elevation of 6684 feet.

VISIT MOUNT MITCHELL

At 6684 feet, Mount Mitchell is the tallest mountain in eastern North America. Mount Mitchell State Park is wonderful to visit and features great trailheads.
